Style Chronicles: People’s Choice Awards 2017

It’s that time of year again… that’s right, we’re talking about the People’s Choice Awards! Wednesday night, we all took a look back at the year 2016 and crowned it ‘the best of the best’ in the world of pop culture. This award show is a favorite among celebrities and influencers alike, because each award is voted on by us, the people. An overall fun show, the style is vastly different on this red carpet than any other. The attire is formal yet playful, and this year was no exception! Check out our top 3 looks of the evening:

It’s hard to choose Blake Lively‘s best feature. Does she show off her toned arms, her gorgeous locks, or simply emphasize her beautiful face? We’re happy she chose to focus on her long legs in this flirty Elie Saab number. This mini-dress may be see-through but no one could pull it off as elegantly as this mother of two! The length of the dress accompanied with the sparkly fringe, highlighted her legs that seemed to go on for days.

Jennifer Lopez never ceases to amaze us at every red carpet event. The Pop diva and actress extraordinaire stunned in this Reem Acra gown. J Lo managed to show off her curves while simultaneously not bearing much at all. This form-fitting floor length ensemble with an ornately embellished sheer bodice, stole the show and quite a few hearts as well!

Gotham star Jamie Chung made waves with a thigh-high slit in this Martha Medeiros dress. The contrast between the daring slit and the delicate yellow lace made for a sensational combination. We’ll be sure to keep a lookout on this actress for the next red carpet!
