Style Chronicles: The Chanel Metiers d’Art Runway Show

December 7, 2016

This week, Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld displayed a beautiful show at the Ritz Paris to showcase the Métiers d’Art runway show. We were in awe of the romantic and bold use of accessories and eye-catching sequins, that will surely inspire many holiday outfits this season. These are our favorite looks from the runway:

As Cara Delevingne has been Karl Lagerfeld’s muse since the launch of her illustrious modeling career, it was no surprise that she opened the show. Here, she wears the signature Chanel jacket and skirt ensemble with gorgeous ivory flower accents. Delevingne’s edgy styling and modern accessories gives this classic look a new-age twist.

This look perfectly encompasses the drama that came with the sophisticated glitz and glamour of this year’s show. Lindsey Wixson, is captivating in this gorgeous dress as she made a big statement with black sequins, fur and pink bold accessories.

Lily Rose-Depp made her runway debut in a spectacular two-piece gold and cream ensemble, showing us that crop-tops are not going anywhere. This fun look will standout at any dinner party as the sequins are sure to steal the show.

Taking care of delicate materials can be difficult and we recommend sending your cherished pieces to a trusted expert-someone who knows how to clean fur, sequins, and handle those bespoke pieces with the utmost care.
