2017’s Hottest Trends

The champagne has been sipped, the confetti is now gone, and the ball has officially dropped. It’s 2017 and we couldn’t be more excited to report the new year’s biggest trends! Let us toast to the New Year in style with these new looks:

1. Big Shoulders

Some of you may have thought the 80’s were over but it always finds a way of coming back! Giving a seemingly masculine trend a more feminine edge, this trend works for everyone. Big and boxy shoulders are worn best on jackets and blazers to give your outfit an over-the-top dynamic. After all, fashion is about more than just mixing patterns and textures. This trend allows you to have a little fun with dimension!

2. Bold Stripes

Although stripes are considered a fashion staple no matter the season, this trend reinvents an old classic! Big stripes are the easiest way to make a statement with very minimal effort. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing bold patterns, ‘be bold’ with your accessories instead! A bold striped bag could be exactly what you need to complete an ensemble.

3. Neon

The sheen of the ball in NYC has nothing on the illumination of neon! This trend is a big hit-or-miss with the fashion world but it looks like, this year, it’s here to stay. Turn heads as you wear it as a top or a dress. If this trend is too much for you, try experimenting with it in a pattern, your jewelry or footwear. A little can go a long way!

Regardless of your personal style, these trends can work for everyone. Make it a New Year’s resolution to experiment with your style a bit more. You just might surprise yourself!
