Last month we saw models gliding down the runway, photographers snapping thousands of photos of the latest looks, and designers finally being able to see their vision come to life. New York Fashion Week certainly left quite a few people exhausted, but luckily for us, Bridal Fashion Week its place. A beautiful sight to behold, it left us feeling completely rejuvenated and revived!

This season was packed with lace, florals, tulle and organza galore. All of our favorite designers like Marchesa, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, and Zac Posen left us in awe of their designs. Their craft and mastery showed us that whether you like to keep it simple or be completely unexpected and bold, there is a perfect dress for you!

These were just a few of our favorites:

Carolina Herrera

Leave it to Carolina Herrera to create the most elegant and feminine pieces on the runway. This all white ensemble is anything but ordinary with its unexpected use of drapery. This dress would be perfect for the sweet bride that has a bit of an edge to her.

This peachy-pink tulle number is perfect for the woman who carries herself as royalty. The layering of the tulle creates an eye-catching silhouette. Any woman would feel like a true princess in this dress.

Marchesa

Marchesa was the reigning designer of NY Bridal Fashion Week (as usual!) this season. Marchesa’s designs ranged from refreshingly traditional to pushing the envelope with textures and vivid embroidery. With its timeless and yet simple hem and a romantic off-the-shoulder top, this dress is the one for modern traditionalists.

This floral ensemble appeals to the bohemian bride. The pink hues and the floral motifs that run along the dress give it an effortless, ethereal look. Here, Marchesa has achieved the laid back bridal look without discarding any sophistication.

Francesca Miranda

Francesca Miranda is all about dazzling her audience and thinking outside the box. The twist on this princess dress is absolutely stunning. The lace bodice is simple and feminine, allowing the butterfly detail on the gown to speak for itself. This dress is perfect for the bride who likes to take command of any room she enters.

This second ensemble is reminiscent of the rebellious age of the roaring 20’s. The floral detail throughout the gown acts to balance out the sexy neckline and  sheer bottom. Any bride that marches to the beat of her own drum and creates her own rules would absolutely love this dress.
